Everybody is aware about the electronic mail, the friendster and other services in the Internet. This is where people of all ages enjoy sharing common stuffs and experiences together.

Blogging on the different websites have acquired its popularity that greatly affects the mass media all over the world. From the time that it was introduced in the year 1995, many people started to become curious about it and as they discover more about blogging, they show a great interest on it.

These are sometimes referred as online diaries. It is a combination of texts and images. A typical blog also focus on a particular topic and discusses anything under the sun.

Blog is also considered as a distinct website. Every blog entry is consists of the following important parts namely:

· Title

This states the topic that is being discussed on the blog. Remember that it concerns the main title or the headline of the entire content of the blog. This is one of the main parts that cannot be eliminated in a certain blog.

· Body

From here, you will read and see the whole content of the post. It will consist of everything that will discuss the main topic of your post.

· Comments

Remember that you are not alone in reading the content of your post, thus other readers can also have an access to your blog. They also have the chance to place comments that can be added in your post by the reader.

· Permalink

This will pertain to the URL address of the entire individual article found in your post.

· Post Date

From what the name suggests, the exact date and time when the post was published will be reflected here.

If you will try to trace the history of the website blogging, you will see that it is greatly influenced by realistic events. The early website blogs are interpreted based on chaos created by the soldiers serving particularly in the Iraq war.

Thus, most of the blogs are based on the current events, depending on what is hot and in demand for the people.

The types of blog will also depend on your preference. There is actually more than one type of website blog that are available. Among the types are:

· Personal Blog

This is the most applicable blogs for the teens today. Since blog is sometimes called as online diary, this is where facts and issues concerning teens are reflected. This usually constitutes topics about trends.

· Career Blog

This is dealing on the profession of a person. It can also include topics about the past experiences of a person with an employer and others.

· Paid

This type of blog is simply for business purposes and majority for product advertisement and promotion.

Aside from the types of blogs mentioned above, there are still many other types of blogs.

The bottom line is, each of the blog cater to your needs, if you want to know topics that deal on a specific topic you can make a choice of your own type of blog.

Site Review:Shweet Potato Designs

My WAHM Spotlight this week is my good friend and our NEW Editor Carmen! Or as I like to call her “Carm” lol She has been a good friend and fellow graphics designer for years! Carmen owns a very popular site called Shweet Potato Designs where she offers the most unique, creative and beautiful graphics! Her speciality is dealing with Primitive and Country based graphics with her most popular graphics being her “Raggedies”

NO ONE and I mean NO ONE on the internet makes such unique and beautiful raggedies as Carm! What I personally love about her raggedies is simply they are unique! Frugal WAHMs Talk Radio Show Nov 20th

Talk about a LARGE show! Boy just mention TWITTER and the swarms keep coming! LOL It was an awesome show and we were blessed to have one of our staff members Melissa join our show today also! So we had six staff members and fifteen chat members we had FUN!

Today’s show was focused on EVERYTHING Twitter! Angie shared a article that is posted on our site called Twitter for Newbies! Dianne also shared a great article on Twitter! Cathy talked to us about Magpie a program that incorporates Twitter that she was looking into and she shared her opinion on this program! We also shared some great sites to get Graphics for your blog about Twitter.

Tina also brought up a good question for all of us WAHM’s are you closing down for the Holidays? If so how are you going to handle your work load are you going to wait and deal with it when you get home? Or are you going to check your emails during your holiday break? We also read a FUNNY email about Dianne and her Thanksgiving SOO FUNNY! Thank you Salma! Slog Bite New Way To advertise your blog or Site

On our show this morning Dianne introduced us all to SlogBite.com and letted us know a little bit about this great site! SlogBite.com is currently in its BETA or Prelaunch as he gets all the kinks worked out. Here is a little more information about all the wonderful features of this new site:

“SlogBite” is a new concept in Blog/Site directories. It seems that most existing directories cater onfly to blogs, or are subject matter specific. Personally, I don’t see why a directory can’t support both Blogs and Sites. In fact, how much of a difference is there between a “blog” and a “site?” In my view they both represent a “web presence.” Any distinction between the two has long since dissipated into the “blogesphere”, or should I say “webesphere.” There are many sites, including mine, that have used a blog theme rather than creating a web site from scratch. Therefor, I have taken it upon myself to create a new term; “SlogBite,” an anagram for “blog” and “site” as another word for “web presence.”

SlogBite is where you can list your site on as many category directories as are relevent and also search for new sites to read. In a sense, SlogBite is a directory of the people, by the people and for the people! For more specific details please see “Methodology.”

SlogBite will allow my visitors to:

Participate by adding their blogs/sites (”SlogBites”) to the directory.
Get “LinkLove” because this directory is meme-based for the “A” Listers.
Search for “SlogBites” of interest.
Future Features:
Give reviews (your opinion; I do not use ranking systems) on the listed “SlogBites.”
Have discussions with like sites in Category specific forums.
