Your City, Your State December 11, 2008 – Frugal WAHMs Talk Radio interviews Founder of MetroMom, Kim DeYoung, about women entrepreneurs, fear of rejection and challenging the status quo to become a true Metro Mom. While Big Businesses are going under faster than the government can bail them out, large groups of work at home women are taking over the marketplace left behind by the demise of the giants. On Thursday, Frugal WAHMs Talk Radio interviewed Kim DeYoung, founder of MetroMom.com about her take on the work at home movement. “Women take rejection personally,” states Ms. DeYoung. This accounts for why many have such a hard time making their businesses work. From unsupportive family to the naysayers lurking around every corner, there are many opportunities to get discouraged.
