I am already subscribed to the newsletter. What I like most is how the lids and the bowl stack up together. My bowls are always a mess since they dont stack well. Plus they are so pretty a lot prettier than normal plastic bowls.

I have an interesting recipe for some skillet biscuits that you and your families will enjoy. It comes with an Old Tyme Beef Stew recipe that goes well with the biscuits.

Skillet Biscuits:

  For these you will need..

    * 2 tablespoons organic butter
    * 1 cup of organic buttermilk
    * 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
    * 1/2 teaspoon salt
    * 1 3/4 cups of organic flour
    * 1 tablespoon baking powder

  So for this, a 8-inch cast iron skillet is needed. Melt butter in skillet and pour off excess and set aside for later. In a small bowl stir soda into buttermilk. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add the dry mix to the buttermilk and stir until mixed well.

  Knead dough on floured board about 15 times. Press dough to 1-inch thickness. Cut with floured cutter, or you can use a floured cup or glass. Place biscuits in skillet and spoon remaining butter over the top of the biscuits.

  Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are medium brown. Serve hot. Makes about 8 biscuits.

Check out my blog for the stew recipe.....

Hey Mary,

I'm not sure that I understand your question. I'm talking about promoting your blog so that you DO get readers (aka eyeballs). :)

On your blog, you can talk about whatever you like. You'll find by the responses whether your readers are enjoying it or if they'd prefer you stick to business.

If you want to learn about Blog Talk Radio, go there and set up an account. Once you're inside, they have really good tutorials.

As for Youtube, it's pretty easy. However, if you're already doing well at other things - stay away from YouTube for now, until you've had success in other areas, so you don't slow down your progress.

Angie, you're doing great! Are you a Shelancer? If so, I have a report in there about understanding your web stats. I'll probably pull it and sell it separately one of these days. Seems a lot of people don't understand their stats -- or the gold mine in them! :)

Thanks for commenting!

Hi Mary,

The programs inside of CJ.com vary. Some will accept you automatically without even looking at your sites. Others will turn down the best of marketers, because of their own short-sightedness.

Apply. If you get turned down, apply again later -- or promote their competition! ;)

Sonya,

Sounds like you're want to work on converting better on your store. Do you have a mentor who can help you with your ecommerce site? It's very helpful if you can set up some testing to see what works. Otherwise, I'd just be guessing.

Have you looked into this for advice? http://www.sparkplugging.com/ebay-ecommerce/

Hope that helps!

Hey Mary,

That's so weird. I replied to your Twitter DM, but it isn't showing up.

If the other site is related to yours (relevant, similar, complementary topic) and is one that you'd LIKE your article on, then yes, go ahead, although I'd send them a slightly different version (at least change the title). - And, of course make sure they're linking to your blog.

Hope that helps! And, keep up the great writing.
