One of the least expensive ways to add the scent of the Holiday season is to visit your local dollar store and purchase some Holiday scented potpourri, often times you can find this as low as a dollar per bag. Then take old candle holders or holiday cookie tins and simply with your holiday potpourri and place around your home. Another inexpensive item to decorate your Holiday table with is simply candles and these do not need to be the expensive designer candles but as simple as votive candles from your dollar store will do the trick. A fun trick for your candles is to use clean baby food jars and add some of your holiday potpourri or dry corn pieces or even holiday candies inside and then add a votive for an inexpensive decorating idea to place around your table or home.
Another inexpensive item to decorate your home with is small pumpkins and gourds, often times during this time of the year you can find them as cheap as 3 for a dollar. These can simply be set around on your tables or kitchen counters to offer a feel of the fall for less than a few dollars. Another idea is to collect pine cones from around your yard and place into a bowl or basket along with your mini pumpkins and gourds for a beautiful table center piece for your Thanksgiving meal.
Save money to use on your Holiday Meal planning by using easy DIY Thanksgiving decorating tips like the ones above, and spend your time visiting with your family members this year.
